Summary

• We do not collect your data. We run no servers for this app.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no location, no third-party SDKs.
• Practice data stays on your device. If you choose family sharing, it syncs through your own private iCloud, which we cannot read.
• Game Center is optional and only for the child's own Apple Account.

Who this app is for

Push is designed for children practising skateboarding or scooting with a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian should set it up and supervise its use. The app does not ask a child to create an account, and we do not knowingly receive any personal information from children, because we do not receive any data at all.

What the app stores on the device

• Rider name or nickname (up to 30 characters) and a weekly practice goal.
• Practice attempts: which quest, the date and time, and how the rider felt.
• Parent reviews: mastery level, an optional note (a grown-up may type free text) and the date.
• Earned XP and unlocked quests, worked out from the above.
• Device settings such as whether this device is a parent or child device, and family sharing status.

This is kept in the app's private storage on your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app removes it from that device (see "Deleting data" below for exceptions).

Tip for grown-ups: use a first name or nickname, and avoid putting sensitive information in review notes.

Optional family sharing (Apple iCloud / CloudKit)

If a parent turns on family sharing, the app saves the records above to a private CloudKit database in the parent's iCloud account and shares it with the Apple Account the parent invites. Apple provides and operates this service. We have no access to it. Data in it is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and your iCloud settings and storage.

Anyone the parent invites with read and write permission can view and change the shared records. Only invite people you trust. Sharing is not designed to stop a modified app or a person with write access from altering records.

Optional Game Center

On a child's device, a parent or guardian can let the child connect their own Game Center account to earn achievements for completing skill sets. The app reports achievement progress to Apple's Game Center. It does not use leaderboards or multiplayer. Game Center is provided by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy and the account's own settings. Parent devices do not use Game Center. Apple account, age and Screen Time restrictions may prevent connection, and the app does not bypass them.

Face ID, Touch ID and passcode

Parent controls are protected by your device's own authentication. Authentication is handled by iOS. The app never receives your biometric data or passcode.

Export

Parents can export the family's data as a JSON file from settings. Where the file goes is your choice (for example Files, AirDrop or email). Once it leaves the app it is outside our control.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools. We do not sell, rent or share personal information. We do not use location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. We do not use your data to train models or build profiles.

Data retention and deleting data

• On the device: delete the app, or ask us how to reset it. Deleting the app removes local practice data. It may remain in your device backups until those are replaced.
• In iCloud: records the app saved in CloudKit are stored in the parent's iCloud account and are deleted only through Apple's tools (for example iCloud storage management). Removing a shared person or revoking a share does not erase copies already downloaded to that person's device.
• Game Center: achievements cannot be revoked from within the app. Manage them in Game Center or your Apple Account settings.
• We hold no copy of any of this, so we cannot delete it for you or send you a copy. Use the in-app export.

Security

Data is stored in the app's private container and, if enabled, in Apple's iCloud. We rely on iOS protections and your device passcode. No method of storage is completely secure. Protect the parent phone's passcode: anyone who can unlock it can use the parent controls.

Children's privacy rights

Because we do not collect, use or disclose personal information, we hold nothing to access, correct or delete. If a parent or guardian believes we have received a child's information, contact us at support@distyll.uk.

International use

The app works without our servers. If you use iCloud or Game Center, Apple may process data in other countries under its own policies.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, post the change on this page.
